Marshall Brown
Owner
Marshall graduated with his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accountancy from Auburn University in 2019.
He started The Clear Difference after graduation. After a very, very, very short career as a CPA, his “side business” quickly became full time.
When he isn’t busy working or talking to customers, he loves hanging out with his family or playing pickleball. He has a beautiful wife Hanna and two awesome kids (Connor & Addie).
I’ll stop talking in third person now. I love this business and everything about it! We’d love to earn your business and show you why I named it “The Clear Difference”.
Stephen Bass
Opelika Manager
Meet Stephen aka Steve! The OG employee. The guy who made me realize I didn’t have to do it all by myself. He’s been working for The Clear Difference for three years, but you’d think he’s been doing it his whole life.
One of my best friends. The nicest guy you will ever meet! He is in charge of all of Opelika for gutter cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and Christmas light installation.
Stephen has an incredible wife Ashlyn & three great kids (Walt, Lola, and Phoebe). He also enjoys playing pickleball when he is not working!
Baxter Reeves
Moore’s Mill Area Manager
Meet Baxter aka Bax! One of the hardest workers you will ever meet. He set a company record in his FIRST month of working for The Clear Difference.
He is in charge of the entire Moore’s Mill area, as well as Beauregard and South Auburn. If you live in those areas and need your gutters cleaned or Christmas lights installed, you’ll be seeing Bax!
Bax also loves playing pickleball (notice a theme here), and has an awesome son Bradley that he loves hanging out with.

The Clear Difference is an exterior cleaning company that services residential and commercial properties in Auburn & Opelika.
Our main services include cleaning gutters, installing gutter guards, cleaning dryer vents, and installing custom fit Christmas lights.
We’ve been in business since 2019. That’s 7 years of mistakes, learning experiences, & industry knowledge. We’ve seen just about everything. Not much surprises us anymore. We have great people and great systems in place.
