What’s the Difference?
To put it simply: pressure washing uses high pressure, while soft washing uses chemicals and extremely low pressure.
Many companies do one or the other. At The Clear Difference, we do whichever one will produce the best results in a given situation. Book a quote with us today!
Pressure Washing
Pressure washing is great on certain surfaces (such as concrete) where soft washing simple won’t get it done. However, the high pressure can easily damage surfaces if not done carefully. Many homeowners wrongly assume that the high pressure is necessary to clean the majority of their home — but typically that’s not the case on most surfaces.
We typically pressure wash concrete and brick surfaces. We use our commercial surface cleaner to reduce/eliminate the lines that many inexperienced homeowners or handymen can cause.
Soft Washing
Soft washing, on the other hand, has a larger focus on using the correct type and concentration of chemicals. We simply spray down the surface with water (and spray down any plants to make sure they are not effected), use a solution of bleach and a surfactant, let it dwell, and rinse it off. You’ll be shocked by the difference. It will be very clear. Get it? The Clear Difference…… moving on.
We typically softwash siding, composite, vinyl, and roofs.
