At The Clear Difference, we handle holiday decorating for a number of commercial and HOA customers across Auburn, AL and Opelika, AL.
How does it work?
Design: Fill out the quote request form or call/text Marshall at (334) 377-9966. We can work you up a design ASAP.
Installation: We use our materials to make your property shine! We use only commercial grade C9 LED lights (offered in many colors), commercial grade “mini” lights, and commercial grade lit wreaths with red bows.
Maintenance: If winds blow a strand down or a bulb goes out, we fix the issue within 24 hours! And oftentimes we fix issues while driving by that you may not have even noticed!
Take-Down: What goes up must come down! On January 1st, we start taking down lights. We can ensure that all lights/decorations will be down by mid-January.
Storage: We store your Christmas lights and wreaths so you don’t have to! No more climbing in the attic or dealing with tangled lights each year.

Traditional Holiday Lights (Warm White)
The majority of our commercial customers go with traditional, warm white lighting for the holiday season, and it’s hard to blame them! Warm white lights will never go out of style.
We actually use a color called “Sun Warm White”, as it more closely mimics the traditional incandescent lights that many of our customers grew up with.
One of my favorite jobs is Auburn Assisted Living. There, we install warm white roofline lights, column wraps, and 48″ lit wreaths with red bows. Such a great complete look for their customers to enjoy each time they enter the facility.
Another personal favorite is Swiss Cleaners, owned by no other than Bubba Dean. The focal point here is the two large columns near the drive through pickup. Along with the magnetic roofline lights, we think the job looks awesome for the corner in Opelika.

Logo/Brand Colors
Commercial customers that are looking for an extra “WOW” factor typically go with colors that match their branding/logo.
We can use any color combination that you can think of. We offer warm white, pure white, red, green, blue, purple, orange, teal, and more.
One of my favorite multi-color installs is Culver’s on East University Dr. We do an alternating blue/blue/pure white/pure white to match their classic logo.
Another one that stands out is Auburn Oaks Animal Clinic. We started with warm white, and then added blue/green to match their logo. Their employees & customers loved it!
HOA Holiday Decorations
Homeowners in an HOA love to enter their neighborhood to beautiful, bright Christmas lights. That’s where we come in!
We can make your neighborhood entrance shine! We can outline the neighborhood sign with large C9 lights and add lit wreaths with bright red bows. We can surround the garden beds with ground stake lights to show off the landscaping. And we can wrap your bushes & small plants with matching mini lights. The possibilities are endless!
My favorite install from last year was Hidden Lakes in Opelika. At their main entrance, we did roofline lights, ground stake lights, and two lit wreaths with red bows. At their side entrance, we did bush lighting and two lit wreaths with red bows. We are expecting to add many more HOA entrances this coming year!

Do We Install Permanent LED Christmas Lights?
Yes, we do! We install Minleon Permanent Christmas Lights. In our opinion, this is the most robust permanent lighting system on the market. It’s the most reliable, customizable, and discrete system that we have found.
It’s perfect for anyone that wants a “one & done” purchase that they can use year round and customize to their liking.
While permanent lighting is changing the market, keep in mind that many customers will still want lit wreaths and column/bush lighting installed seasonally to compliment the permanent roofline LED lights.
