Post-construction window cleaning is no easy task. After your beautiful home or commercial building is complete, your windows are commonly splattered with paint, sticky tape/stickers, glue, silicone, drywall leftovers, annoying adhesives, mortar/sealers, etc. The list goes on and on.
Most window cleaners avoid post-construction cleanups at all cost. At The Clear Difference, though, we take full advantage and truly enjoy seeing windows transform from filthy to sparkling clean.
How We Do It
While most of our services avoid ladders at all cost, they are necessary for our post-construction window cleaning. We need to get as close to the windows as we physically can, as long poles simply won’t allow us to use enough elbow grease to clean the windows. We use every necessary precaution to make sure we protect both your property and our employees.
Along those same lines, we hardly ever use scrapers & blades on a window in a traditional cleaning. However, after a messy construction job, they may be necessary to remove all of the residue. If we do choose to use a scraper, we always take every necessary precaution. Ideally, though, we will stick with abrasives that don’t have the ability to scratch a window, like steel wool and bronze wool.
Pricing
Our post construction window cleaning service is roughly 3x the charge of our traditional cleaning service. That’s due to the fact that each window takes roughly 3x as long as it normally would if there were no stuck on debris to remove.
However, this is the general rule. Our pricing depends on the condition & quantity of the windows, as well as how difficult they are to reach.
