So you’d like The Clear Difference to clean your windows and/or gutters at your home. Great! But now what?
Well, here’s what you can expect:
An On-Site Quote
When possible, we like to give you an on-site quote. That way, we can introduce ourselves and start building a relationship with you. We can also discuss our other services that you might be interested in (gutter cleaning, upholstery cleaning, carpet cleaning, etc.). You don’t want a stranger working on or in your home, so we’d like to at least meet you beforehand!
Strong Communication Every Step of the Way
We like to keep our customers up-to-date every step of the way. We use a CRM software to confirm the time that we’ll be coming. Then, when we head your way, you’ll receive a text/email with our ETA. Lastly, you’ll get a text/email to confirm that we are all done, which will include an invoice for you to pay online if you so choose.
Water-Fed Poles & Pure Water On the Exterior of Your Home
The hardest part about cleaning windows of homes is that second and third story windows typically require ladders. However, we wanted to take ladders out of the equation, so we invested in what are called “water-fed poles”. They continuously feed water all the way through the poles… and ours reach up to 60 feet in the air!
Here’s the general process, in case you are curious:
- The water goes from your spigot to our water filtration system.
- The filtration system filters out all of the minerals & ions, leaving what is called “pure” water.
- Then, the pure water goes all the way through our poles up to your windows.
- We use a brush (made of nylon and boar’s hair brushes) to scrub the windows, frames, & sills.
- We rinse the windows with one last spray of pure water.
- Lastly, we simply let the water dry naturally. Because what is left is “pure” water (only hydrogen and oxygen), it dries streak-free within minutes depending on the shade & temperature.
We choose to clean exterior windows via our water fed poles for many reasons. It’s safer due to less use of ladders. It’s faster compared to traditional window cleaning. It cleans frames and sills unlike traditional tools. It’s also much better for the environment, because there are no chemicals needed.
Shoe Covers & Our Indoor Water System on The Interior of Your Home
First thing’s first: if we are coming into your home, we will be using shoe covers. We don’t want to track any dirt/mud into your home! After all, we are there to clean.
Next, we use our indoor water system on your interior windows. We use microfiber pads, poles that reach up to 60 feet, and a solution (sorry, it’s a secret!) that we have found to best clean windows without needing a scrubber and squeegee. We choose not to use squeegees inside your home, because this typically results in too much loose water below your windows and on your floors, even when controlled properly.
Going the Extra Mile
Most window cleaners literally just clean the windows. Not even the frames, sills, etc. We don’t like that approach. On the outside, we always clean the frames and sills, which have a large impact on the overall look of your home.
Plus, if we are going to be cleaning your windows, then we might as well help out in other ways while we are there. If we see any, we’ll also be getting any cobwebs that we see, and any other obvious debris that would make your home look better if removed.
A Customer Focus & 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
We want to make sure you are pleased every step of the way. If for any reason you are not thrilled with your cleaning, we will gladly come back and touch up any necessary areas. We truly appreciate our customers!
